MoPOP Filming Application

Thank you for expressing your interest in filming at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP). We value your enthusiasm for our museum and are dedicated to accommodating requests in a manner that aligns seamlessly with MoPOP’s mission.

To initiate the application process, kindly submit a fully completed application along with any supporting materials such as the script, film treatment, storyboards, and references or samples of your previous work. Following the submission, MoPOP will conduct a preliminary assessment to determine the feasibility of accommodating your filming project. If your project is approved, we will provide a preliminary estimate of the associated costs for venue access and resource support.

To proceed with filming at MoPOP, we require the completion of a Commercial Use Location Agreement and a Certificate of Insurance. The insurance coverage should include public liability coverage with a minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence, naming MoPOP/ELC as an additional insured party. In extraordinary circumstances, an additional amount of coverage may be necessary. Furthermore, the production company is expected to agree to hold harmless and indemnify MoPOP/ELC for any loss, damage, expense, claims, and costs arising from or connected to the film production.
