Community Access Program

Providing community access to the arts.

EMP’s Community Access Program enables individuals experiencing financial, physical, or social barriers to visit the museum. The museum serves the residents of the Pacific Northwest by opening its doors to all who might benefit from EMP’s rich educational and cultural resources.

Access Partners

Access Partners engage in a collaborative process with EMP, and each partnership is uniquely designed to fit the specific needs of both organizations. Using a targeted approach to diversify museum visitation, EMP provides direct service to select partners allowing those with financial, physical, or social barriers to access the museum.

Access Partner Guidelines and Eligibility

EMP invites select nonprofit organizations to become Access Partners each January. Applications are due annually on November 1. Access Partnership requires a three year commitment to programmatic collaboration between EMP and the Access Partner organization. It relies on pre-determined measurable outcomes and annual evaluations so as to gauge program effectiveness and use.

If you are interested in becoming an EMP Access Partner, please complete the application form. Questions may be addressed to CommunityAccess@EMPmuseum.org.

EMP annually donates complimentary tickets to more than 800 regional nonprofits to support raffles and fundraising events. These tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Your organization may request up to four (4) tickets per calendar year using the Ticket Donation Request Form. We encourage you to put in requests for these ticket donations at least four (4) weeks prior to the date of your event. Tickets are not guaranteed. The museum does not donate memberships.
