Be Heard—Vote! CD Forum's Sharon Nyree Williams on the Creative Community's Political Involvement

Voting and pop culture have some stuff in common… they’re things everyone can get behind, you’re super cool when you’re up to speed on them, and the fate of our democracy depends on them (well actually, that one is just about voting). In this important election year, we’re encouraging everyone to “be heard” at the ballot box.

We've partnered with a number of Pacific Northwest organizations to share why your vote matters and how you can make a difference as a voter. It’s up to you to take part. Learn more at MoPOP.org/Vote

MoPOP Senior Communications Manager Michael Cole-Schwartz chats with Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas Executive Director Sharon Nyree Williams about the importance of civic participation and why it matters for people in the artistic community to be involved in the political process.
