Dr. Blair Ebony Smith in a postdoctoral research associate, sound artists and scholar at the Krannert Art Museum and in Art Education at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her research explores the creative and sound art practices of Black girls and women. She is currently working with Black girl organizing collective, Saving Our Lives, Hear Our Truths and continuing research on sonic pedagogies of Black Girlhood.
