Daoud Tyler-Ameen is a features editor at NPR Music, a multi-platform team of journalists and critics inside National Public Radio, where he assigns and edits essays, interviews and reporting on contemporary music and culture and the emotional lessons they teach. He is also a writer, interviewer and commentator for NPR’s digital and broadcast platforms, plays drums in the D.C. power-pop band Bad Moves and performs solo as Art Sorority.
