Storm Gloor is an associate professor in the Music and Entertainment Industry Studies department at the University of Colorado Denver. He also serves as a city councilman for Glendale, Colorado. Professor Gloor developed what has been considered the first Music Cities college course. Though his previously published research has centered on pop music “one hit wonders” and marketing messages in pop lyrics, his current work documents how local music economies are developed, grown, and sustained.
